GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Our classes start back in the New Year on Tuesday 7th January 2025.  

 

CURRENT TIMETABLE

(from Tuesday 7th January 2025)  

 

TUESDAY: 9.30am-10.15am – Lift Lean™

TUESDAY: 10.20am-11.05am – Fitness Pilates

WEDNESDAY: 6pm-7pm – Zumba® Dance Fitness

[Flashing disco lights are used in our Zumba class] 

THURSDAY: 6pm-6.45pm – Fitness Pilates

FRIDAY: 9.30am-10.30am – Aerobics & Toning 

 

*PLEASE NOTE: When we return in the new year our Tuesday morning Lift Lean™ and Fitness Pilates classes will be extended to 45 minutes each (£7.50 per class or 4 x Class Package for £25 – other discounts also available).

CLASS INFORMATION

LIFT LEAN

Enjoy a Lift Lean™ medium intensity class, working through strength training exercises

using a variety of equipment and class styles (Interval training, HIIT, reps and sets etc…) 

  

Designed to help build lean muscle, boost metabolism, and improve your overall health and fitness!

Work at your own level of fitness in a fun and friendly class – Ideal for clients wanting to introduce weights to their workouts.

PLEASE BRING: Your own set of dumbbells /or a kettlebell /or water bottles! plus an exercise mat, and water. 

(Please use weights that are suitable for your own level of fitness).

AEROBICS & TONING

A fun, friendly and effective Aerobics and Toning class with high and low exercise options for all fitness levels.  

Get a full body workout designed to help you keep fit, boost cardio endurance, strengthen your muscles, joints and bones and improve mobility and flexibility too!  

 

The class includes a 25 minute cardio workout, a strength and toning section, and a stretch and cool down to finish.

Equipment such a mini exercise balls, light dumbbells, and resistance bands are sometimes used in class too.

PLEASE BRING: an exercise mat and some water.

ZUMBA® DANCE FITNESS

Take the ‘work’ out of ‘workout’ – with this calorie burning Zumba® dance fitness class.  Dance, giggle and have a fun energising workout combining Latin and World rhythms with easy to follow dance moves.  

 

This is a medium intensity Zumba dance fitness class combining fast and slow rhythms – designed to raise your heart rate and help improve your cardiovascular fitness, and also help tone your muscles and improve coordination and flexibility too.

Suitable for all levels of fitness – just follow my lead and go at your own pace.

PLEASE BRING: A bottle of water. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Flashing disco lights are used in classes.

FITNESS PILATES

An effective group fitness class based on the traditional teachings and exercises of Joseph Pilates,

delivered in a modern and functional group exercise class.  

 

The class is taught in group exercise format, with standing and floor based stretches and exercises, designed to improve general postural imbalances, increase core strength and improve balance and flexibility of a generally healthy adult*.

Equipment such a mini exercise balls and resistance bands are sometimes used in class too.

A mixed ability fitness class with different options given to enable you to work at your own fitness level.

PLEASE BRING: an exercise mat, a towel and some water to class.  

 

*PLEASE NOTE: My ‘Fitness Pilates’ class is a group exercise class designed for the generally healthy adult.

It is not a rehab, clinical or diagnostic class, and is not appropriate for pregnant women.

This class is not suitable for individuals with diagnosed muscular-skeletal conditions requiring one to one instruction.

If you are having treatment from a GP/Physiotherapist please obtain medical consent before coming along to class.

 

Mixed ability classes for all genders and all levels of fitness.

Suitable for 18+ years.

Class Prices (from 1st September 2024):

£7.50 – Single Class

£25.00 – 4 Class Package (discount – £6.25 per class)

£48.00 – 8 Class Package (discount – £6 per class)

£66.00 – 12 Class Package (discount – £6 per class, plus 1 free class)
